The Wreck is beginning to collapse and subside

We have been informed by SLMC and MSA that "Lee's Wreck" is subsiding and breaking up due to the worsening deterioration of its structure, and to possible disturbance during recent storms.

The subsidence is to the extent that at High Water on a Spring Tide, the whole of the wreck is underwater.

Extreme care is needed when diving in the vicinity of the wreck!
