Benefits of your Club being affiliated

• Full Membership is open to BSAC, CFT & SAA clubs in Northern Ireland
• Each Club can send two Delegates to the meetings (only one has a vote)
• Snorkelling Clubs affiliated to Diving Clubs may join in their own right
• Automatic notification of major events in the Province (e.g. Dive North)
• Your Club could be eligible for Sports Council Lottery Grants
• Your Club could also be eligible for Nifsac's own Grant Aid

 

Lottery Grant Applications

In order to apply to the N.I. Sports Council’s Lottery Fund :-

• Clubs must have been a Full Member of the Federation for at least two years.
• If a Club’s application is successful, the Club must remain in the Federation for at least 5 years.
• The Federation is duty bound to report any (grant successful) Club which does not renew its mebership, which could result in the Lottery or the Foundation taking steps to recover their Grant from your Club funds.
• As NIFSAC is the governing body for Sport Diving in Northern Ireland, the "Governing Body" form should be returned to the NIFSAC Sports Development Officer.
